Not many of you know, but when Chris and I were up in Michigan a few weeks ago his grandfather landed in Beaumont Hospital. He fell off a lawn tractor and was in ICU the whole time we were in Michigan. Thankfully, although the situation was bad, we were in Michigan and able to spend the day at the hospital. Things looked like they were shaping up and Bob (grandpa) was finally discharged into the physical therapy ward to start working back to health from three broken ribs, a tracheotomy tube, and bruised lung, not to mention pneumonia.
Sylvia just called to give some very bad news and I need you all to say a prayer. I am a firm believer in God's plan and that there are some things that are out of our hands, but still say a prayer for comfort. Bob has made a major turn for the worse in just the last 24 hours. He now has a staph infection, the pneumonia is back, and a childhood injury is just making the while situation worse. The doctor's prognosis is not at all good. 48 hours is about what he thinks.
So please, say a prayer for us here. I know it is hard for Chris to be here, have his grandfather in Royal Oak, and his mom in California and have all this to deal with. Send him some good vibes. Say a prayer for Bob and for his health. Keep us in your thoughts. And really, say a prayer for Chris to give him strength and comfort.

You know we will!! Keep us updated!!
Thanks, Jen. Sylvia called last night and Bob is definitely not going to survive this, but it looks like it might be longer than 48 hours. They called Hospice yesterday. So now it is just a matter of time.
Ohhhh, that's not good.... I am glad it is longer than 48 hours, though.
Still praying, though!
