Today was the first work day back. Sigh...can I just tell you how much I didn't want to go? I had to be there for the staff meeting and that was fine. I just really wish that somehow I could skip over the rest of the school year. I'm worried that my little devil, I mean dear, will be even worse upon returning to school after the second track out. I really just don't feel like going back to work yet. I want more time.
Ah well. The nice thing was seeing my friends at school. I got to sit and talk to Becky for a while today and with Barb a little. I got some work accomplished, although not much. I left a bit early and stopped by Hollywood Video along the way home. I knew I had a late fee for a movie we rented a little bit ago and wanted to pay that. Also, our rentals are only 99 cents right now because the store opened not that long ago. I mentioned that the DVD that was late didn't play and they might want to pull it off the shelf and the guy didn't make me pay the late fee! Woo hoo! It pays to be nice and polite. My intention was simply to let them know about the DVD and still pay the late fee, but it was cool I didn't have to. I also inquired about part time work there. With a wedding in a little over a year and no extra money to be saved, well it only makes sense to get another job. I mean, what am I doing with all this extra time anyway? The way I figure it, if I just keep my checks from the part time gig going into the bank account I have for when we do eventually get married, then that can be the official Wedding Account. Chris has been think about looking into getting a part time job too.
Tomorrow is another work day...BIG SIGH! I need to make sure to take the Ring Of Power with me and have some photos taken with me using it to make my coworkers bow to me. :) This is a lame post, I know. It needs to be stopped. NOW!
