So here I am at home today. They called school off last night around 10:50 or so. Check this out- there were 56 schools in the Raleigh area that had kids left in them last night. These kids had to stay the night! You can read the county's announcement of it here.

Wow, that is unbelievable. It isn't even comprehendable that kids would have to stay the night at school because of a couple of inches of snow. The traffic is unbelievable too. I guess we had our own version of the traffic when the blackout happened in 2003.
