Today I don't feel good. I hate it that I don't feel well. I hate that it is Sunday and I have a headache and an upset stomach. I hate to be sick on Sundays and this is mainly because there are so many things that need to get done. I should be responding to the letters the kids have written to me (they write one each week in response to what they are reading). I should also be doing a load of laundry. But it feels so much better when I sit still.
While I was feeling slightly better I managed to get myself over to Best Buy. This happens to be one of the favorite stores of the entire MacLachlan clan. I think the funniest part about going to Best Buy is that they keep your info in their computers. A few months ago I was in there and had to ask for help and the guy was putting my name in the computer so that I could get a rain check. He pulled up 5 MacLachlans! He asked which one was me- turned out that I was in there, my mom was, my brother twice, and then my dad too. The guy looked at me and smiled- "You guys must love Best Buy a lot!" Yeah, you think? So anyway, I wandered around a little bit. I was looking for headphones for my iPod and my brother swore to me I could get a good pair of the new earbuds (well, they're new to me) for under $20. So I went online yesterday and found what looked like a good brand and all that. I did find them and, as promised, they were under 20 bucks- $16.99 to be exact. I was a little skeptical because these earbuds were placed right next to the Sony ones that were priced at $55. I was worried only a little, I had researched and the customer reviews of the Koss The Plug earbuds were good. Now that I have them home I am so glad I got them. PERFECT! The sound is great and I am loving it! I now have everything I need to have a fantastic flight to California in a little over three weeks. JOY!
Now that I have headphones, I had to go ahead and let myself spend the three dollars to buy three new songs on iTunes. I think I may have found a new favorite artist- his name is Marc Broussard. Definitely check him out. He was featured as the free download of the week two weeks ago. I have to say that I am completely pleased with the investment of iTunes and now the iPod. If only they had the rights to be able to get the Beatles on there- life would be GREAT. Stupid Michael Jackson!

If you are looking for Beatles, go to www.allofmp3.com. They are a Russian site that offers MP3s at .01 per MB download. It is a great deal! The were reviewed on Tech TV and are not a scam!
